Paintings for a Cause was created to honor the many children battling cancer in our community while showcasing the work of talented artists from the Tampa Bay area. The evening begins at 6:30PM with cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and live music. A calendar featuring 12 beautiful paintings will be unveiled and the original paintings will be auctioned off. Calendars will be available for purchase and all sponsors will receive complimentary calendars based on sponsorship level.

“Expressive Painting” Oil Workshop
Loosen up your paintings! Gain painting insights from the dynamic team who will teach you how to observe, interpret and paint in a straightforward way. Simply learn to “see” patterns of light and dark shapes then paint them in warm and cool colors. That’s it!
Everything else is the mystery. This workshop will clarify the act of painting your favorite subjects from photos or from life. You will develop your skills and understand the what, why and how of painting in a fun and informative way! Each day will begin with a talk and demonstration followed by painting time where you will receive personal assistance to help you paint more confidently while enjoying the art of painterly painting! Judy’s specialties are portrait and figure paintings, and Larry’s are landscape and still-life.
All skill levels are welcome.
